One Night in Bangkok / Durban

Durban is often seen as a city that sleeps, we don’t get many concerts or events coming our way, but on the 15th of June SecretEATS Durban hosted its relaunch with a “One Night in Bangkok” themed dinner.

In a beautiful location, our guests were welcomed into a bright and bustling Thai night market, showcasing the ingredients for the evening's dinner.

Delicious canapés were served with Rickety Bridge MCC and Mai Thai cocktails while our guests mingled and waited in anticipation for the doors to be opened for their sit down dinner.

At 18.30 the doors were opened to the seated area and our guests were ushered into a Thai wonderland.

Two long tables were set up, with a hanging flower garden constructed overhead. Fairy lights and candles created a warm ambiance and a live music set was gently playing in the background.

The MC for the evening welcomed everyone and our evening got started. Thai food is often associated with curry or noodles, but our Secret chef Goo had designed an incredible Thai fine dining style menu which had been expertly paired with Rickety Bridge wines.

The excitement and thrill of a SecretEATS dinner and the magic that unfolds from the minute a ticket is booked to the end of the evening is what draws people back over and over again.

Durban is starting to embrace with open arms events and evenings like these and we are looking forward to hosting the next one soon! If you’d like to join us, make sure you request an invite.

If you were at our Secret evening, we thank you for your support and look forward to hosting you again soon. If you had a good time and would like to share, please review us on Google.
