JOB DESCRIPTION

SecretEATS brings together top chefs and mixologists to create unique, once-in-a-lifetime dining and cocktail experiences for guests.

Our original Secret dining and cocktail experiences are sensational adventures in food wine for fun-loving, passionate travelers and locals. We are currently looking for part-time experience hosts to join our team in different cities.

Our Guest Experience Manager will lead guests through our daily Secret dining and cocktail experiences, sharing stories of the local city, its people and the spaces we're visiting.

You are the face of the brand. For our cocktail experiences, you will guide guests to 4 secret spaces to enjoy 4 sensational, Secret cocktails created exclusively for us.

During our dining experiences, you will introduce the food and wine course by course, as well as introduce the chef and share the stories behind the inspiration and passion in each dish.

In both roles, you are a storyteller, learning and understanding the creativity, passion and journey our chefs, mixologists and artists have been on and sharing that journey with your guests. Ultimately, you are responsible for ensuring they have an outstanding, unforgettable experience.

Our Guest Experience Manager is not a bystander or tour guide, they are an integral part of the experience, sharing their stories and engaging with the guests throughout their journey.

Training will be provided with specific details on the food, drinks, spaces and people we will be engaging with during the course of the experience; it is your job to become an expert in this information while weaving in your personal experiences and stories about food, cocktails, wine and Vietnam.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee guest experiences for our signature SecretEATS cocktail and dining experiences

  • Provide stories, talking points and conversation starters to guests throughout the experience

  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction through outstanding service and attention to detail

  • Monitor and report back on experiences regularly with leadership and partners

  • Coordinate with key partner venues to manage and confirm bookings, share guest feedback and manage daily logistics

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Speaks fluent, conversational English; a second language is preferred as our experiences welcome guests from around the world.

  • Is naturally friendly, warm and welcoming. They are excellent communicators and make people feel at ease naturally.

  • Has good problem-solving skills and is about to adapt easily to guest requests.

  • Is passionate about food, wine and cocktails and sharing their experiences with others.

  • Has a strong connection to the culture and history of the country and a deep passion and love of your city and discovering its hidden gems and Secret hideaways.

The position is available as a part-time, freelance opportunity to start with the chance to join the team in the future and become more involved for the right candidate.

Previous experience in F&B or hospitality is not required as training will be provided but you must have a passion and interest in food and drink.

Experience in guest relations, sales or working with international travelers is a significant bonus for this role.

Working Time: Approx 4 hours; select evenings

The position is part-time. Salary to be discussed based on experience.
